The ability to draw is genetic. Would you trust a sub-saharan nigger with a 70 IQ with anything important, like engineering parts of a space shuttle? Of course not. The same is true of art. If you cannot accept this fundamental truth you are NGMI, permabeg, etc.

Moving beyond that fundamental truth, we must also accept that like Plato's cave a majority of people are not sapient. They cannot escape the delusion. Thus a majority of people cannot draw. Read into this cave to understand why. If you cannot accept this fundamental truth you are NGMI, permabeg, etc.

Once someone "passes" those fundamentals (I would estimate less than 10% of all humans truly can), those chosen rare few must then practice for years. There are probably close to 50 techniques to master in total in order to be competent at art. At the same time there are many bad schools or techniques... so it's possible to waste all of that time. All of these bad techniques will endorse themselves just as much as the good ones, and there is no guide to discerning them. The average great artist will spend anywhere from 10 - 18 years falling into these traps, recognizing they are traps and then seeking out the truth. Of these searching artists, at best 50% will escape those traps.

So in summary
>less than 10% of the human population has the base IQ required to grasp the abstract ideas drawing dictates
>less than 10% of that small group are truly alive per Plato's definitive observations of human intellect
>50% of that 10% of that 10% will fail outright because they cannot discern nor escape traps that build rotten technique and poison artistic ability irreversibly

If you can make it past all of the above you may indulge in the opportunity to have furries shove thousands of dollars into your face to draw a lime-green zebra shitting into a monkey's mouth. Of course with a decade-long recession, financial collapse, food crisis, etc. on the horizon this may mean nothing in the end.
