Is Drawabox a big meme or will it really help me visualise things in three dimensions? I see people badmouth it here all the time but I've learned to take literally everything /ic/ says with the largest grain of salt on earth.

Trying this out. So far I like the exercises and I appreciate a free resource, but this guy seems like he's autistic as fuck. I'm not the only one who sees that right?

The draw a box guy is so bad at explaining perspective! He gives you assignments to do but barely explains the thought process behind the assignment. It's sad this is the go-to, free online perspective teaching resource out there. I spent the $12 on Marshall Vandruff's 1994 course and perspective makes way more sense now since Marshall Vandruff actually understands what he's teaching. Thoughts?? Has anyone here actually finished Draw A Box?

Is draw a box a bad course?

I think that DAB is a really incredible tool for beginners (and pretty much every level really), not only it's free but it is really really good and helpful.
I am a beginner and I am currently doing draw a box and it is really helping me improve.

But, it is hated for some reason.

Is it really bad?

Is this worth starting out with? Sticky mentions it by name twice but doesn't go into details.
