color monday, yellows are tough, I don't like the end result.

look for speedpaintings of that artist. it can be a combination of multiple things:
-brush sharpness
-brush set in multiply or overlay mode
-brush texture
-perlin noise

the hair looks done with some kind of watercolor brush using a multiply blending, the shadows look done using a textured hard brush and to break monotony everything is overlayed with monochromatic noise.

legacy probably, I don't like fwap I feel that loomis construction framework is a begtrap, it may make sense once you have a really grasp of depth, boxes do a better job in this regard, I like huston's LTL method.
