Lava was the original creator of LAS, he fixed and updated the site with new features while participating in it and shitposting vigorously in the threads.
At some point (consult pic related) he stopped posting in the threads, responding to comments on his blog, messages on his tumblr, and emails. He kept making new blog posts on his blog however, some dissing other artists which brought even more ire upon him from the threads.
Later on he just let the site die, and people had to scrounge around for driftwood like las2.esy.es

When he's AWOL he's completely absent from the threads, doesn't update the website or respond to emails, only posts life story essays on his blog.
