beginner - drawings look flat (not on purpose)
intermediate - can bend form to meet 2d spatial needs
expert - can shade accurately 1+ light sources on form that is self generated

>(2)Anatomy
beginner - noticeable that it looks off (from lack of knowledge of how the full muscles operate)
intermediate - correct but not aesthetically appealing / ugly loomis face
expert - correct and appealing to look at

>(3)Talent
beginner - motivated by selfish reasons (I'm the greatest artist ever) and actively suppress the idea that other talent can coexist (young talented musicians that enter music school are often confronted by this)
intermediate - crippling depression from being overwhelmed by the awareness of how much there is left to learn, and instead of cultivating focus and chipping away using lesson plans often will vent their precious anger instead of using it for fuel for self change. (society molds a man on the outside to look sane. meditation, like a furnace, molds a man entirely sane through vigorous self examination and logical self criticism)
Expert - Does not waste his precious energy lecturing to the lost, finds young talent and cultivates and motivates it. Understands his ego and the concept of "what if?" and actively uses his canvas as a laboratory to meet his own and his clients needs. Chooses to be his own favorite artist. Understands that the selfishness of the beginner is still a part of him and humbly knows when he is actually the better artist and when he is not without succumbing to self destructive habits.
