question, at the end of my story the protagonist sees her dead son as an angel holding back the villain allowing her to escape the impending black hole,

the last panel is her and and her sons dog tags around her neck

a dog tag includes name, blood type and religious preference

I have her dog tag read ATHEIST and the sons ORTHODOX (orthodox what is not specified)

i thought that it would be powerful considering she's just witnessed her dead sons angel and such

but im worried it might be too much for a shonen... I really want to include this part because I myself was raised atheist by two scientist parents and had a change of heart later in life, getting myself baptized and such.

is there any religious preference i could put on the sons dog tag that would not be offensive? I'm avoiding blatantly putting christianity because of japans attitude towards it obviously.

what about buddhist perhaps? or should i just leave this part out entirely just to be safe and avoid controversy?
