"Talent" is real, but it's just an affinity for something. You'll learn it faster and more intuitively because it's just a thing you do. However, the principles and knowledge are learnable by mostly anyone.

Regarding the arm, assuming you mean the resting one, I think it's a good start. Maybe have the forearm bend more rowards the guy's hip and not have it bend at 90 degrees? Not really a horrible thing or something that ruins the piece, but it almost feels like he's "pretending" to look like he's lying down? I dunno if that makes sense, but having it bent more and maybe have the hand go under his body would make it seem less flat.
