Are you pertaining to the lighter shade of grey behind her? If so, it wasn't intended to be a light source, just a stock background to make the subject pop out.

What I'm mainly looking for are people's opinions on the art style itself, i.e. if you were to commission something, would you rather have it done in the traditional comic/anime art style or in this overtly-digital MTG-esque painting?
