I've decided to take the plunge and learn to draw both as a beginner and digitally. Some people have told me to find an artist I like and trace everything they have until I grow accustomed to their style, but some people have told me tracing is an utter waste of time and to free-hand it with the image as a reference. Is one of the two right, or is it something in-between?
