I lot of people seem to assume that the stuff on my Insta is meant to appease corporations or something, so I'll explain. Everything on my IG page is just personal work that I do as a hobby. I don't use social media to get commissions anymore, it was never a viable source of revenue for me and I don't even use it to reach new clients. As a matter of fact, I'm hardly even a freelancer now, I just work remotely for two advertising agencies. At work I have to keep up with the current trends in design and it does have an impact on my personal illustrations.

And yeah, I'm also a bit tired of seeing "Humans of Flat" everywhere, but I think that not all examples are terrible. Some actually remind me of Matisse cutouts or Picasso's paintings. I like Xoana Herrera's work (pic rel), I believe she's the lead designer behind Facebook brand illustration.
