/ic/ - Artwork/Critique

..But enough about that, what's worth stealing from the /loomis/ sticky if anything...I mean, he's got links to decent stuff in probably the right order but that's not enough. The original /ic/ sticky was so good because it actually engaged with the reader. This guy's sticky is too impersonal in this regard and is more of just a small, but perhaps efficient, resource dump. The board owner probably doesn't know enough about the underlying concepts of formal art himself to really teach anybody. Conversely, If the /ic/ mods don't know shit for example it doesn't matter because there's so many people here to pick up their slack. If you're making an art board on a 4chan knockoff with few users though you have to be able to carry it which I doubt the /loomis/ guy can. Poor bastard. He just wants to git gud.

Are we sure the /ic/ sticky is gone forever, anyway? I mean, surely its author still lurks /ic/ and is aware of the problem?

I-...Is my perspective ok? I just tried eyeballing it but I don't know if I practiced "formally" with a grid enough to really see in 3D properly yet.
