I am learning how to draw in pencil again, and this is but a grind,attempting to draw each character that appears in the story at least once just to do it. So I don't care about the composition much,since they are just lessons for my own education and not the thing I am presenting to the world as my "product ". Here,a story grew around the portrait of the female once I decided to make the second figure admiring her handiwork, and the black ink was a grind on a grind,trying to work out making the ink and pencil interact. None of these are things that should be judged, mere chips of stone on the way to reaching the statue underneath the block.

To want to create anything is a religious calling.

To walk away from self indulgence, and to labor alone,to wander far afield in imagination, and to defy time itself by making art that will resonate in the zeitgeist, and let some parts of you to be immortal, so many marks on paper can sometimes be.
