Personally I think it work as long as you can actually rotate it, I think the profile you did of that bad guy doesn't look right to his other heads. I think his noes should be more protruding and his eyes should be more sunken.

As for is it "appealing", thats hard to say, im not sure how I feel about it. I really like the hands, fingers, and torso though. From the lines work to the brushes you used for shading.
