The thing is you dont actually have to draw like a "pro" to be a successful artist.

I have given up on trying to "get better" by reading books and drawing squares and i just look up a referance and i draw a "template" based on her/him and then i draw clothes and hair on her/him from imagination for 2 reasons 1 is that it just isnt fun and 2 is that i realised it doesnt actually matter look at this for example

Feel free to explain to me how the account on the left is so much more popular than the account on the right because he can apply the lessons he learned from loomis books to the faces better better,has more accurate proportions etc. and i will get back to reading art books trying to copy the masters.
