> Your perspective in this image is off, and there's no clear sense of form.
yeah I'm aware. I'm ok with that. Was a good attempt. Learned a bunch. I don't really give a shit about trying to "prove" that I've got super skillz. My entire point is that ANYONE can make interesting paintings if they want to.

Like pic related is a left handed meme. Anyone can do this shit, but thankfully you all just endlessly toil at making sketches and you never bother making anything that anyone wants. Nobody is going to hang up your shitty drawings, no matter how technically well executed you think they are. Drawings are for ideas folders and fridges. But you make a shitty painting and normals suddenly want to throw money at it.

>Use straight lines as much as possible and keep it clean.
ok but here me out... what if instead I use my patented chickenscratch technique and get fucking graphite all over the canvas instead?
>Another thing is that you don't need to be so defensive about everything.
Yeah I know. I'm not actually btw. I'm adhd as fuck and I learn and process things by breaking them down and "arguing' or thinking about each point.
>Doesn't matter if you did because it doesn't show in your work.
I think it does. It's pretty clear the paintings that have 20+ hours in them versus the ones I did as an aside real quick with leftover paint
>If you think you're doing the right thing all the time
I don't though. Like I have been knowingly doing the "wrong thing" the whole time, but I'm painting internet memes. Yeah, drawing from life IS important and good practice, but when I'm like "how do I improve these paintings" and I get "do some life drawings" it's like ehhhh. Like yeah it's good advice generally but its not really what I'm doing. Like it'd be cool to eventually be get to doing some life drawing memes but that's still a bit down the road.

>I can shit in a can and call it art.
yeah you literally can do that. And it'd probably be much more interesting and better executed than whatever "art" you do doo.
>Just because one person believes it's art doesn't mean everyone else thinks so.
Everything can be and kind of is art. Just because you're an autistic contrarian knownothing doesn't change this.
> Tattoo art often boils down to Florida license plates
You don't judge an entire medium by what you tell yourself it "boils down to." Why do you choose to be a race-to-the-bottom ding dong?
> but the thing is that any kind of medium in practice is affected by the people who create it, and this is common sense.
No it isn't. it's hysterical goofball sense for poopfiends and dillweeds.
>When most people who get tattoos do it to show allegiance loud and clear to something or someone, you won't get a lot of art
Yeah you kind of do. Most people I know that are addicted to tattoo pain are the most into allowing the artist to do their thing on them. "the body is the canvas" and they'll fucking drive to hundreds of miles to work with a specific artist. A major part of tattoo culture on the uppity end of the spectrum is about seeking out artists and working with them to create something that is meaningful to both of you as well as being aesthetic and whatever the fuck else.

But instead of demonstrating basic empathy or common knowledge about an entire industry you just "boil it down" to retarded stereotypes and seek out the assholes, while essentially implying that everyone with a tattoo can be boiled down to "florida license plates." You choose to be a fucking judgmental square. And you wonder why you don't have friends?

idk that first part was a fascinating spearment doing left handed with a grid. Started to get the hang of it after around 30 minutes once I started thinking more about how wrists work and stuff. Makes your brainguts have to consider things you may take for granted normally idk
