Outside of the fact that I should actually make sure the sketch itself makes sense, does it look crinkley, like a lolipop?

I just finished reading your posts; I think you should go back if you can.
Things losing meaning, I'm feeling it too. But I think that's just an easy thing to happen when we're young and have been raised seeing the work of masters. I've made it my goal to socialize more and I've made more genuine friends at my day job then any other time I can remember and that gives a little meaning by itself, or at least some comfort, while I decide what I want to do.
It'll be easier to talk with people who're in the same boat as you and that's why I think you should go through with your original studies, it can make a stable foundation so you can be calm before deciding on what to do next; maybe with someone you connected with?

If you don't want to do that, or if it's impossible, then one thing you have to not do is constantly worry, it's hard to learn in the long run if you're stressed.
