I tried using the advice from this video:

As I have some issues with establishing contrasting (even in greyscale).

I decided to take a shot, obviously this is heavily anatomically incorrect.

I used a no opacity, no size jitter brush to try and break from my line drawing habits, but I found myself trying to sneak my way back into drawing lines.

Have I succeeded in employing a full range of values successfully? Does the lighting make some sort of sense?

Any words of advice? Thank you in advance.
