>Sure but let's not be naive, this tech is designed to improve to the point where no human artist will need to be involved to get perfect results.
and how will that work in your mind? what will that look like?
in my view, it's not a question of need. artists will always want to express themselves. even if you're not needed, you'll do it anyways.

even in chess, where humans have long been leapfrogged, people still play the game, because they want to.

and i'm even more optimistic here because art is subjective and always will be. so it's not such a simple thing for AI to be "better" than humans in this field.
even if it gets to the point where AI is an uncontested virtuoso, it still won't necessarily invalidate expert art that is at a lower level than it, or even amateur art. because they can be enjoyed for different reasons.
because art is just that subjective.

eh, true probably. it's too cluttered.
the painting style itself makes it even more busy.
but i like the environment, and it could be used for its depth map or linework. (for example pic related is what i used to get >>6966915)
tomorrow i'll probably put more work into thinking about composition and color before finalizing it.

in general i still have issues with the background. i like some of the window compositions, but none of them are it still.
now that i think about it, it might be a little too mundane. i originally wanted to have a mech somewhere in the back to the right. maybe i'll try to get it in after all.
