Thing is, even the experienced artists will end up adapting to make use of AI if they want to cut time and concentration required to work in the creation process. Right now I see some artists (and even writers) using generated content as a sort of draft, just like pretty much everyone uses minor shortcuts like effect brushes and shading tricks to cut time. But how will this progress in the future? Will artists be reduced to editing a few inconsistent bits out and maybe fixing the shading? Will some editing-tailored AIs allow themselves to export generated pics in a fucking layered models?

If this continues, there'll be a day you see an art you really like, but you won't be able to tell how much human work went into it compared to how much of it is AI-made. I'm already doubting myself every time I see art posted in imageboards, because AI may not have creativity or "soul", but it coming closer to be able to perfectly replicate it at a superficial level. Take a stroll at these Dall-e communities and you will see why picrel is more than enough to fool oneself.
