Ever since I was a kid I always wanted to be an animator and work in the industry. Issue was and honestly still is that I am basically retarded. I legitmately believe I have a mental defect that my family has been hiding from me.
At the age of 23 I was still drawing with fucking pencil and crayons thinking i'd make my deluded dream a reality. It is Chris chan tier shit. I literally had no idea what fundies even were. Now I'm nearing 30, worthless degree, no job aside from retail work, can't drive, virgin, was obese most of my life but just now manage to lose it, still live with my dad.
I'm trying to grind hoping I can at least become GOOD even if I don't make a dime just in order to keep my sanity from falling apart. If I gave up drawing my entire world would unravel. The past 3 decades of my life would have been a lie.
Ah well. Off to draw some poorly done figure studies

I'm 28 and realized I'm an eternal ngmi.
My childhood dream was to work in cartoons and animation. I was dumb enough to let my family's encouragement delude me into thinking I could actually do it.
In reality I still draw like an autistic child with poor fundies. I will never have a career in art. I graduated with a degree in graphic design, applied to 100s of jobs but my skills there are also shit so I'm unemployed living with my parents. I'm a complete socially inept tard who can't drive and has wasted his whole young adult life. Never had a girlfriend, horrible fatigue issues, literally can't stay awake for more than 5 hours. I can't quit art because I've sank too much time and money into it.
I'm currently trying to grind in hopes of at least becoming GOOD even if I will never work in an industry.
I'm giving myself a decade or else I'll lay down and rot

My self worth as an artist is tied to the likes and follows I get on twitter and the (you)s I get here.
Is it possible to "make it" in the art world without the internet?

Should I wait until I get better to post my art online or should I just do it anyways as a /beg/?

How would I go about finding an internet art mentor (paid obviously)?
My lack of improvement is beginning to make me sick. I've been drawing my whole life yet my art still sucks. Pic rel not mine
