No, its twice as expensive as a deco pro which is just as good, if not better because you dont get your nibs fucked.

Next time spend at least a little bit of time doing some research.
The new intuos pro line are tremendously overpriced (as always) and have a printer ink design in the form of nib wear. They figured it was a stupid business decision to have a perfect tablet that lasted for 10 years because thats essentially losing a customer for a decade. So theyve designed new nibs that burn to shreds, but dont worry! Theyll sell you premium replacements!

New intuos pro line has a paper texture that coupled with the newly released soft nibs results you in burning through them in only weeks, even with a soft touch. They sell you a solution to this problem for an extra 50 dollars which you have to apply yourself.

The altered the nibs so that old ones are incompatible with the new pens, so that those with stockpiles cant use them instead of buying new nibs.

Medium sized tablets are generally considered to be the perfect size.

The new intuos pro line is designed to destroy your nibs so that you keep buying replacements.

Eh, no. Not really. The truth is is that they are just terrible bits of equipment for the price. They work fine, dont get me wrong. But they dont work better than products a sixth of the price. They also burn your nibs to shreds because wacom execs wanting more repeat purchase contacts with their customers. What good is selling a perfect tablet that will last for years? You wont get that customer again for decades. So they opted to make the nibs akin to printer ink.

The new line of intuos pros have been designed to have a very hard abrasive surface coupled with far softer nibs. This causes them to burn down within just days or even hours of use, forcing customers to keep buying replacements. They altered the design of the nibs so that the older generation ones wont be compatible with the current line specifically so that those with many old spares cant avoid the strategy. Of course, they offer a premium solution to the problem they engineered, a plastic cover for 50 fucking dollars that you have to paste on yourself. And it still doesnt mitigate the burning entirely.

How expensive are the stylus? I doubt theyre approaching the 300 bucks of intuos pen wear.

Get a deco pro for a third of the price.

I guess its down to preference. Im used to smooth surface tablets so I can really glide my pen and move with fluidity for my painting. But indeed, xp pen showers you with spares and they burn very slowly.

The newer ones are designed to burn your nibs down, forcing you to keep buying new ones. Its a solution to their issue of having no further contact with their customers, since the tablets can go on for years.

Warning to those looking at the recent intuos pro line, the surface destroys your nibs. You can buy replacements but its 2 dollars for a nib that youll burn through in a week. The smooth surface option isnt inbuilt, its a shitty sticker you have to apply yourself without getting any air/dust trapped underneath it, and it costs a wopping 40 dollars for a bit of fucking plastic.
