Anon, I am very sorry what has happened, and what is soon to happen as you seem to predict.

Life can knock you down from your pursuits, and the baggage of life is just too damn difficult to handle which easily just fucks up your motivation to pursue things.

My suggestion is, aside from seeking the necessary help that you require for your depression, that you make sure you allocate at least 1 hour or so, every single day, consistently, to drawing. This may seem easy, but it is difficult. You need to prioritise your life issues right now, because you absolutely will not put in the effort in art if life problems are affecting your mental health. So spend the majority of your day seeking help, such as therapy, and this is the hardest part: Spend 1 HOUR making a drawing everyday.

It doesn’t have to be an amazing drawing. Think about why you wanted to draw in the first place, that desire to draw what you want will motivate you to get your pencil on the paper. Don’t stress about fundamentals for now, you won’t get any joy from it with your current situation. Find the help you need and draw what you enjoy.

You can do this anon. You will make it, I believe in you.
