I don’t know what the deal with my character is either. Sometimes I like to come up with miscellaneous ideas so I can use them for worldbuilding because I would like to make an RPG game someday.

Regarding her design specifically, I’ve had an interest in history and cultures for a large portion of my life, and the way certain cultures dressed started to interest me when I reached “that age”. Particularly a lot of the cultures that lived around the equator before the era of air conditioning. It seems that most people prefer skin-tight clothing since it reveals the forms of the body, but the topless+baggy pants/skirt combo was always what did it for me, especially with big necklaces.

Regarding game design, her filename is “Monk.png”, and one of my plans was to have “spiritual” classes (like how there are warrior, rogue, and mage classes) that are in tune with their surroundings and themselves, so they have skills that give them information about their enemies. This wouldn’t give much of an advantage in many games, but if a game were to have procedural variations between enemies of the same type, it would be beneficial to know whether or not the next enemy the player encounters has a special instakill attack that needs to be avoided, and it would also help if the player was warned in advance when that attack is about to strike. The scope of the spiritual abilities would go beyond just that, but that’s just an example.
