I've sent them my portfolio. They liked it but they thought most of it was too dark/realistic. I got an interview and they liked my stupid personality too.

I have the skill to do all kinds of shit. This just isn't my area of expertise so I'm asking if there's anybody out here who has a lot of experience in this type of thing.

Art tests aren't stupid. If you had a small company and you had to hire a dude/dudette to work for you, you'd want an art test too. I know I would.
