4chan has split off the NSFW boards to appease advertisers. Tumblr's deleting all its porn, and even non pornographic nudity. YouTube demonotises channels that say what they don't want to be heard, and promotes channels that bring in the most ad revenue. NSFW artists are going back to fucking NEWGROUNDS, because social media sites are being pressured to crack down on art depicting any form of nudity because new laws will make them liable for the content that gets posted to them, so something as innocuous as an artist's commission sheet gets flagged as a potential ad for human trafficking.

I know porn and pinup aren't the only ways to make it, but it's depressing to see this trend, with content being silenced at the behest of the highest bidders, and laws infringing on free speech forcing the largest promoters of content to delete half their userbase. This trend isn't going to stop and it makes me want to stop drawing altogether before we unironically start calling art thought-crimes.

Soo many years consuming content, flash animations, lewd images-videos-games.
As i get gud at drawing i realize the amount of work that went into every little fucking thing i've enjoyed over the years. Even shit memes that are drawn in proportion with correct anatomy means someone had already learnt all this shit and took the time to make us kek.

The only reason i started down the path of creation was the lack of content i enjoyed, Now i see.
