i was too, and i also thought i was too good for it. but i decided to actually try it out after being frustrated with my figures from imagination and it turns out that it's really great. people are sleeping on this for sure. it goes through step by step placing the figure in perspective. though the simplifications look kinda shitty, it doesn't matter. because it's up to you as the artist to put the bells and whistles on. if you're looking for a solid foundation for placing figures in perspective, i think this is it

anyway, i'm only like 1/3rd through it, for what it's worth.
