there's a clear difference between admitting you are fat and making jokes at the expense of yourself vs taking narcissistic selfies and calling your self 'cute uwu'

Th-thanks... Looking back at the reference I definitely screwed up the form on the knees in that middle one just a bit though

Does the iliotibial band not form relief on the surface forms of the body? I noticed right away that Hogarth never draws it. I don't mind having a clearer picture of the biceps femoris and vastus lateralis-but not at the expense of overall accuracy I guess.

(though if I really wanted true to life accuracy I probably wouldn't be pulling from Hogarth's Bizarre Anatomy to begin with, would I?)

>you have to be "obese" to have an unhealthy lifestyle

That's just not true and I know that from first-hand experience. I spent most of my 20s as an unhealthy, unhappy but ostensibly "normal looking" person, and it was only until fairly recently that I decided to change things. I still have plenty to be unhappy about-in fact as I've gotten older (32) I have many more things in my autistic life that would otherwise be a source of fear, insecurity and despair. Once you start getting into your mid to late 20s that's the danger zone wherein even if things were bad for you before, they're likely to get a hell of a lot worse as you start to visibly age.

I'll agree that writing off professional help is wrong, but so too is denying the well-documented benefits of exercise and diet. If you never get your heart rate up and your muscles see long term disuse you're basically letting your body die, and if you leave your body in this state of permanent life support/hibernation mode you can't really be surprised when you end up "living in your head", can you?

It's not that esoteric of a concept, I understand the skepticism, but the changes I'd made myself have really helped me personally and I feel like it's important that people share their anecdotal experiences if it can potentially help others. If you have the mental clarity and courage to finally admit that you need help, you already have what it takes to begin a new and healthier chapter in your life-as any ethical doctor or therapist would suggest you do.

Alright, after watching like 2 hours worth of documentation I figured it out. If you hold shift while you drag a frame it will be lodged inbetween two others, much better than shifting around dozens of frames for each segment by renaming their drawings, right? Great. However, ToonBoom isn't letting me drag or paste frames at all for some reason to begin with and I have no idea what's going on. I can "drag" a phantom of a frame anywhere I want on the timeline but it won't appear there on release. I tried restoring all settings to default too on the off chance it was something I'd done but no dice.

Interestingly enough I can copy and paste frames in the XSheet view, though.

>so why not just do that

Because the timeline is a more efficient visual, but mostly because I shouldn't be having this problem to begin with as far as I can tell.

Any ideas?

You're absolutely right.

However I'm pretty confident he understands the situation. Yeah he could dog me and walk away with what I've given him so far and it would absolutely leave me crushed for a week or so, but in the end he'd be hurting himself way more than he would be hurting me. I have everything I could ever want, at this point in my life money has pretty much lost its meaning to me and I'm more than happy to give every last disposable dollar I have to a (fellow) artist, particularly one that isn't doing so well financially. Apart from that, I'm the most trustworthy and agreeable nigga on earth-a model client if I do say so myself (of course without anonymity on my side I couldn't just SAY something like that, but it's 100% true)

Would you dog someone over $500 if you knew they were willing to throw down tens of thousands (albeit slowly)?

That said, I sometimes underestimate how unfunny and un-charismatic I am. That and how dumb my project probably sounds to anyone that isn't fucking retarded, so who knows, really!

The constructions are short hand (pun intended). If you've lauded Bridgman at any time you can't fault him for that really. In Hundred Hands 3/4ths of Bridgman's plates consist of a skinflap with a vein running through it.

Hogarth is good but he gets a lot of flak for how pronounced his figures' musculature, facial features and so on are.

[ERROR]

New long-ass AMB mostly-biographical lecture video about whether or not school is worth it. While he attended school himself, his conclusion is at least somewhat heartening to those of us that have deluded ourselves into believing that it's possible to "make it" on our own terms without going into debt out of our ass (even though he's speaking somewhat from the outside on this), however, there is always that "but"; he is very diplomatic on the subject.

I'm not black and I'm out of shape but luckily I'm going to be turning things around in a couple weeks; I will be well on my way to attaining that nirvana-like physical and mental state of being Terry Crews.
