The picture I showed you was just an example and is being used for practice. I care about the Clip Studio books and the more advanced ones related to Manga techniques.


if you actually read these books you will realize that a vast majority of professional Mangaka are using those exact techniques in their Manga. Once you start reading them you will start to see patterns in all the poses, expressions, backgrounds, outfits, etc. They're all hacks with a few exceptions that just replicate what they see in tutorials and fans can't tell the difference. There's a reason why all penises look the same, and every Tentacle has the same amount of slime to it, etc.

They teach really good workflows, and there's a reason why western people who draw anime are NGMI without tracing or doing basic illustrations.
