jspaint sketches from this morning, trying to focus on leg anatomy because i feel im quite weak there. Black ones are ones i actually liked enough to do some cleaning up on

crosshatching is very solid, anatomy of the chest and hand not holding the staff is off.

i think the flowers turned out nice actually, and the hair is excellent. The wrist and fingers look a bit overly smooth and need the joints defined more.

I also tend to start with the head, its helped me to start with a loose skeleton type sketch to get the proportions and pose right, and then fill in the details of the face and follow with the rest of the body. Ill maybe draw you an example of a wireframe sketch to try ad help you in a minute.

i kneel. But also i would encourage you to do more whole bodies, or youll end up like me, getting in the habit of only drawing from the waist up and then realizing i have no idea how legs work.

draw from reference. Learn proportions and anatomy. Practice. i know thats not what beginners want to hear but our advice isnt gonna be a ton of help till you practice a lot more.
