When you got hired to draw your japanese animes the first thing studios train you is how to trace properly for MONTHS. You will just trace and trace drawings until you get it accurately. If you trace it poorly the lines will boil on screen. That's how most animators start in their career. If you can't even do this after training period you'll probably will get fired before doing real work.
