The absolute madman. A million thanks, anon.

I started these threads back in early January. I'm not always the OP anymore, but it's nice that there's been enough interest to keep them going. Nothing wrong with a little shitposting, this is 4chan after all, but the greedy "give me what I want or I'm not sharing what I have" types must not have learned that SHARING IS CARING when they were little.

Sorry about your cat. 23 is quite an age for a cat!

I wasn't talking about Procreate in particular. People are always buying Procreate because it's aggressively advertised by Apple and word of mouth. I'd bet a lot of people buy it just for the novelty of having a drawing/painting app that they doodle in every few months.

You're right about Procreate's buggy updates. They release their big new feature updates once a year, but they're known for being buggy right out of the gate. I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't be happy about having to buy a new version only to find out it's buggy.

But, lesser known apps with smaller numbers of users and not much promotion need a way to survive, and the "buy once and receive free updates forever" business model won't enable a developer to keep working on the app in the long run.

2TB of storage for $10/month is a good deal, especially if you have a ton of videos or other files that are relatively large. Having a complete backup is very nice, especially in case your devices is ever stolen or broken. There are far too many people who never back up their date.
