is this good enough base before I move on to the painting part?

I'm not sure when it's time to move on, I can still see mistakes like eyes not being the proper shape the direction not being aligned properly with nose/mouth and the ears being completely butchered, etc.

So basically, am I supposed to keep guessing/erasing/measuring until it's 1:1 perfect or move to the next step?
