Not everyone has the same experience with your 'bad head space' as you may have. Some people are capable of finding social media feedback interesting and fun without conflating it with their self worth. Some of my favorite art I've done has done poorly on social media and some shitty stuff does well, it doesn't bother me, but I do find it interesting discovering what is and isn't popular.
