Thanks a lot for these references. This would actually be the first time I've drawn something more mechanical so it's not really turning out all that well so far.

The image at this point feels kind of ruined and awkward. Does anyone have any advice? I find that coloring clashes a lot with the rest but I don't really know how to represent metal otherwise (or at all, really).
