Is this meant to be a joke thread?

If not, shut up kid, it takes years and years to get good, and not everyone advances at the same rate as one another...I've spent 30-odd years dabbling with drawing, and there's still a myriad of things I could learn and attempt to master, but I don't get down in the dumps about it, it's a good thing, it means I'll always be interested and engaged in this hobby...six fucking months...I've spent six months or more on one fucking drawing! I've come back to a drawing, years later, and finished it! The drawing I'll post as an example, sat on the back burner for 4 years, till I decided to complete it.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll rework the text and the bubble after looking into it some more.

No, you aren't crazy, I started this picture ages ago, and then decided to pick it back up recently, I have a tendency of doing that with some of my pieces.

This picture for instance, took 4 years before it was complete, it sat maybe 30% complete for 4 years, and then one day I found it again, liked it, and decided to finish the rest of it in one sitting.

Thanks guys, I honestly recommend just sticking to basic fundamentals, it's not worth the headache of attempting this method of drawing, because for all my decent looking drawings, there's hundreds inbetween that turn out looking janky and I just discard them, many wasted hours, as I've gotten older I'm not as passionate and dont draw often enough, and as a result, am too inconsistent...I suppose digital art would make this easier, maybe one day I'll pull my finger out of my ass and try to learn it, but there's just something about traditional art I like more than digital.

This is probably one of the only other ink only pictures I've done in recent times:

And now it's done. On to something else now.
