So I wanna git gud at drawing, I only recently started and the last time I drew was when I was like 12 probably. Anyway, I've basically just been copying other people's drawings. (Not tracing, to be clear.) I'll improve doing this right? I'll learn the Loomis shit later but honestly my linework is so shit right now I'd rather focus on that first.

Also, a lot of people say to do life drawings, is that still the case if I just wanna draw cartoon sketches?
