For artists who work digitally, do most start off each new piece right in photoshop using a tablet, or is it more common to start on paper to make general outlines etc, then scan it in, then work on it digitally? What are the bros and cons of one way vs the other? Is it worth learning on paper when your only interest is digital?

When we say Loomis, we don't literally mean Andrew Loomis. He's the legally free option to learn the fundamentals. I guarantee you any good artist needs a solid foundation in the fundamentals.
