Some quicksketch/gestures. Amorphous, doughy chink women are ridiculously hard to draw. It seems like it’s mostly Asian refs that display such accursed formlessness. I wonder if it’s the lighting they use or something.

Btw, anyone got any good hyper angle refs? Ideally nude photos of shredded models with strong dramatic lighting, but… I’ll take anything. Seems especially hard to find refs of this stuff

Very nice!

Good job starting back up again! It’s a lot harder after 2 years lol

I recommend Betty Edwards or Proko or Eviston’s beg course to learn to see accurately. This is not bad for a beginner, good job

Well, you need more practice just like all of us. For example the central figure’s proportions are a bit weird and the build isn’t very feminine. But using different colors and opacities to keep overlapping figures organized is a great idea. I’mma remember that if I ever get ambitious enough to attempt something so audacious. Respect, anon. You inspire me.

That middle one is a good-ass head. You’ll be fine

I’m thinking of tracking down some watts stuff and looking into Reilly some more

Hey, good job. Looks very nice. Was this faster than your usual process?

I love these

So far your only weakness is maybe hands and feet. I always enjoy your work
>>7016384
Keep it up! This is how you develop the arcane power of feeling the form

NTA, but good advice here

Betty Edwards and then Proko’s beg course. Also the first few lessons of DrawABox will give you a good foundation in construction, which is 3d modeling on a 2d surface. But do Betty’s book first. That will teach you to draw what you actually see and not what you think you see

Marc brunet’s (and Vilppu’s) vids on rendering will help you invent shading without a specific light source

Oh, nice armpit! Also Finn & the face are great

Nice job!
