Three things -

Consider using color to help separate the blocks from the actual body. Don't be afraid to use a little saturation either.

Values are really uniform across the board. Consider reserving your highest values for really making things pop, and for adding clarity. Think about the blocks being within their own range of values, and the body being within it's own. Does that make sense?

Lastly, the edges are pretty bad. This is especially true for the silhouette, which looks poorly cut out. Try integrating the figure into your background, instead of just plopping it on a minimal-effort gradient.
