Everything you just described is exactly the point I am trying to get across.
>You don't draw outlines, draw the shadows you see. Map the shadow tones and draw the shapes.
How do you learn this?
By just autistically copying from life??
You can learn to do so by accident by why rely on accidents when other artists have solved the problem for you?
The point I am trying to get across here is that telling beginners to draw from life is useless because they dont know what to do when they look at a drawing from life and will try to draw the second drawing.
This is because they haven't understood what lines to add, what lines not to add or
>draw the shadows you see. Map the shadow tones and draw the shapes.
How would a beginner learn to do this?
Copying other artists.

Deconstruction is a form of stylization.
Anything that is not inherently on the model is a form of stylization and interpretation.
Everytime you choose to draw something or put a mark down that isn't inherently on the model, that would make it a stylistic choice.
So how would expect beginners how to know which lines you add or remove?
>Instead, simply learn how to properly use and deconstruct references.
Which is stylizing as it is an interpretation of what you see and not what is inherently on the model.
