What do you do personally when you feel like you're stuck in a rut, and/or you catch yourself comfortzoning? I'd like to hear your personal methods and anecdotes for times you caught yourself in a rut and what you did to get out of it.

>Begin working on project that requires visual novel type assets (quarter turn upper bodies)
>Start out alright but each day, keep getting better and faster
>Discover a creation process that's inline with my /beg/ skill-set but still enjoyable instead of giving up halfway
>Finishing portraits and other sketches daily for a week
>Things that were difficult for me like hair and coloring felt pretty simple now
>Feeling pretty good
>After producing a kinda shitty one and getting drunk, I decided to stop for 4 days
>Try to get back in the groove today
>Abso-fucking-lutely cannot replicate the same look or feel
