It might be an immature desire to get away “from it all” but I’m really drawn to the idea of hitchhiking across Europe, sleeping rough and couch surfing, visiting galleries and woods and little villages and talking to people, drawing en site and while I take buses, hitchhike etc. I would like to do it for an extended period since I have some crypto money saved up.

I’m just worried that this is a knee jerk action that won’t get me closer to my goal of being a great illustrator, but perhaps the journey would change that goal or redefine it somehow.
I know I’m definitely romanticising it but that’s okay too, would be good to get a dose of reality and see if I can stick it through
