Xp-Pen is a Japanese company that sells solid bricks of quality with a usb-c port that will outlive you.
Windows drivers are great, linux drivers exist, also supports Digimend.

Unlike Wacom they don't use a special wearing out coating that burns through the nibs like a machine gun and then wears itself out UNEVENLY.

That's just scummy bullshit and planned obsolescence right there.

Tldr Wacom are established around exorbitant prices and are desperate enough to implement aforementioned materials into their top products.

Honestly they are against the wall, they can chose to cut their workforce in three and try to adapt to the new 100$ price point or just go bankrupt.
