Hi beg. This book explains the gesture in very clear way and even tells you why to bother with it. I like this book. It managed to explain purpose of gesture in 1 page of text while Nicolaides spent whole fucking book talking about it but never really explaining it. And as a bonus his recc gesture style isnt crazy scribbling!

i recommend this algorithm halving intervals. Example: price=100$. If you are getting too little comms then lower it to 50$. If you are afterwards getting too many then raise it to 75$. Like this you will reach "optimum" in least amount of steps.

the answer wont please you: you are looking at raw skill difference between beg and pro who is drawing for decades. I suggest you to copy all drawings in the Keys to Drawing. Thats what i did and it helps demystifying the pieces somewhat.

the pattern has to follow the form. Your patterns are flat and breaking the illusion of rounded surface. If you struggle with this stuff i suggest Keys to Drawing. There are two relevant chapters about it. Textures and Form

Comic is about balancing output pages/day and the story telling. You kinda want to post link to whole chapter if anyone is to actually rate it. I rate the art as the bare minimum to pass for normies aka not bad, not good.

you level up observation and eye-hand coordination skills separately. You simply got better at seeing but now your hand lags behind with drawing. Gotta draw more to level up the hand!
