>fiction is not fiction anymore if it's based on real things
Nice ad hominem though
makes up for your lack of arguments

I'm bending words purposefully, but i'm not bending meaning or truth.
If you fail to give words context, it's on you.
>Normie means someone exceptionally normal. Consumes mainstream shit, holds mainstream opinions, tries to be normal over all else
The fuck did i say?
>That’s not autistic, it’s average, normal
The new normal is to be a mentally ill, absolute-dealing, illiterate, sexual deviant.
>normie don't mean retarded
pretty sure it does

I read until chapter 50, where they had they raid on that island.
It's absolute garbage.
Solo leveling is what you actually want to avoid in storytelling.
>Overpowered Mary Sue that gets granted a deus ex machina that affects everything he does throughout the whole story
>everyone loves him and wants to be friends.
>first thing he does with success is buy shit
>only character development is that he becomes a kpop idol wannabe
>everyone around him dies, but he doesn't even think about actually putting in the effort to save them and doesn't get affected at all
Of course, only a kid or someone with severe brain damage would like this type of stuff.
That is why Korean shit is mostly shallow plastic garbage.
All the "cool" edgy artwork in the world won't make the story look good.

There are no rules in writing. The only things people care about are interesting characters in entertaining situations. For every "rule" someone tries to make there are a dozen well loved stories that break that rule. Where is the save the cat moment in O' Brother Where art Thou? Who has a character arc in Ghostbusters? Where is the three act structure in Lawrence of Arabia? I could go on all day.

The fact is most writers don't really know what the fuck they are doing, and these rules kind of put a structure around literal infinity and I cant agree. Have good stories been told using techniques in Save the Cat? Sure. Can you make a boring story more interesting by following these rules? Why not? But so many other people are following these very popular rules that everything is becoming stale. I think beginning writers should look at their favorite stories, figure out the reason they like them so much, and recreate that feeling in their own work.

But you don't have to listen to anything I say, because I haven't made anything popular or extremely entertaining yet. But this is my philosophy on writing, so we'll see how far it will take me.

>WHY WOULD ANYONE ON THE INTERNET LIE; ESPECIALLY THE GOVT AND PRIVATE COMPANIES WHO PAY MEDIA OUTLETS?
Eh, you know what? You're right.
Just ignore.
