Spent the last few months working on the fundamentals from a couple different sources like drawabox and proko videos until I wandered over here. Saw all the awesome books in the book thread and decided to start reading and doing the exercises in Keys to Drawing.

This is the first time I've drawn something and thought to myself "Damn, that actually looks kind of like the thing I was attempting to draw." Those aren't just a pair of eyes, those are MY eyes, and I can recognize them in the drawing. I've got a long way to go and don't know the first thing about shading or rendering, but I'm feeling pretty motivated for once. What do you all think is the next logical step after working through Keys to Drawing?
