It *does* look cool, but I suspect >>3819557 was hoping to see it harken back more to the manga and OVA's, say maybe compare the concept art to Kishiro's original work on the same page and show how one evolved from the other. Gally/Alita has been around for a long time, and a dedicated fan could be expecting to see more of her origins being infused in the movie and accompanying book than what they got.

Personally, I'm excited to see it. It looks great. I love Cristoph Waltz in whatever he's in, and if you can't see the careful and deliberate design choices made for the movie based on the manga, you're blind ... but a concept art book like that one may not be for everyone.
