I use browns to stabilish values because that is how I learned when studying oil painting. It works better for me than using black and white, really.

what do you mean by the brushwork? is it because it's not too rendered?

is the anatomy that off? I tried to correct the shoulder lenght but otherwise I can't find other stuff wrong. please point it out so I can correct it
