I feel really lost at this point.

I was told I was just mindlessly copying a few weeks back, though my ability to draw has improved...though I currently lack the ability to properly construct bodies (I tried to construct limbs with Cylinders but the cylinders always felt wrong to me). I have a slightly better understanding of 3d space but I still keep wondering if I am symbol drawing or something.

The reason the feet look weird and unfinished is because I was just copying how it looked in the Burne Hogarth book, but I know I should have tried to "fill in the gaps" rather than copy the sketchy unfinished style he gave them.

I was told to do Vlippu and Burt Dodson so I will do that eventually, just I have no idea if I am doing the right thing or not now.

I did draw something from imagination though, without using references, which I'll post shortly.
