Lets be honest, no one in this board is as high in the game to be treated anywhere near "god-like" status on a daily basis, some praises here and there, but nothing like rotting in fame and stuff

That said, I've *dealt* with people praising me a bit once or twice before and, I dont know if this is the work of my self esteem problems rotting me from the core or something else, but I find it extremely annoying and makes me act sharply and cold towards these people by instinct alone. I am polite above everything, but I admit having people treating me way too specially, even if it is in good faith, makes me very irritated. Is this normal?
